series where we are doing a spring cleaning and a reset on all the major areas of our lives.\u00a0 If you missed part one on self and spirit reset, I will <a href=\"https:\/\/wholenessshift.com\/stage\/gystspirit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link to it here<\/a>.\u00a0 Today, we are talking about resetting our bodies.<\/p><p>What is a body reset?\u00a0 This is where we do a CTRL+ALT+DELETE on the bad habits, bad eating, and overall unhealthy behaviors we\u2019ve fallen into when it comes to our health.\u00a0 In addition to clearing out some negative behaviors, we will discuss some healthy, positive behaviors to incorporate.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section changing it!\u00a0 You have to take an honest look at your life and your behaviors in regards to your health maintenance, diet, exercise, and sex life.\u00a0 Do you have good behaviors in place?\u00a0 Where can you improve?\u00a0 Here are five main areas to look at in regards to your body.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-f2ff3d4 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"f2ff3d4\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-01ff1a2\" data-id=\"01ff1a2\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>1.\u00a0 Health Maintenance&#8230;<\/h2><p>As adult human beings, there are things that we must do to maintain these bodies that we have been blessed with.\u00a0 And if you\u2019re not doing at least the basics, you now have a starting place because you need some improvement.\u00a0 Make appointments for your routine health maintenance.\u00a0 Make all of your calls in one day and get those appointments scheduled.<\/p><p>Dental cleanings at least every six months.\u00a0 I can\u2019t say it enough\u2026if you are young, please listen (because if you\u2019re my age then I\u2019m sure you already know I\u2019m right) \u2026TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH!\u00a0 You\u2019ll wish you had. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Schedule both of your cleanings for the year now and just get them on your calendar.<\/p><p>PAP smears and if you\u2019re of a certain age, or if you have a family history of breast cancer, get your mammogram.\u00a0 While you\u2019re at it, get tested for STD\u2019s.\u00a0 If you are a sexually active adult human being, it is your responsibility to regularly get checked for STD\u2019s.\u00a0<\/p><p>And I\u2019m going to take it a step further and say this\u2026even if you are in a long-term, committed relationship, please get checked for STD\u2019s anyways.\u00a0 You can say, \u201cOh MY partner would NEVER\u2026\u201d all you want, but I have been a nurse for nearly twenty years and I cannot tell you the tragic stories of people who contracted life-altering diseases and sometimes even died because their partner passed them something while they thought their partner would never cheat.\u00a0 Just do it.\u00a0<\/p><p>Men, If you\u2019re in your 40\u2019s or older, talk to your doctor about screenings for colon and testicular.<\/p><p>Go to the eye doctor and get your eyes examined.\u00a0<\/p><p>Go for a yearly physical.\u00a0 You should really go at least once a year for a once-over.\u00a0 Get your blood pressure checked and let the doctor check you out.\u00a0 If for nothing else, you need to go once per year so that your doctor will remain your doctor.\u00a0 What I mean is that if you haven\u2019t seen your doctor in over a year, you become inactive and your doctor really isn\u2019t your doctor anymore.\u00a0 Then if there is an issue, your doctor won\u2019t really help with it.\u00a0 I see it all the time.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-c87070b elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"c87070b\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>2.\u00a0 Diet&#8230;<\/h2><p>This one is pretty self-explanatory.\u00a0 You know if you\u2019ve been eating like complete shit or not.\u00a0 Your body is the only body you are ever going to have in this life.<\/p><p>It\u2019s like a sophisticated and beautiful machine and you must take care of it.\u00a0 Drink more water, eat healthier foods, stop snacking as much and cut down on the carbs.\u00a0 Drink a smoothie that is full of fruits, vegetables, and hydration instead of grabbing a donut or some fast-food.\u00a0<\/p><p>This next bit I really mean\u2026listen closely\u2026at the VERY least, please take a daily multivitamin.\u00a0 I\u2019m so serious, this will help your body a lot if you aren\u2019t eating right.\u00a0 Your body needs certain things to function.\u00a0 They are essential.\u00a0\u00a0 And if you aren\u2019t getting them through your diet, then at least throw a vitamin at it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-92b0739 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"92b0739\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 am SO BAD at this one.\u00a0 I\u2019m doing this body reset right along with you all and this is an area that I really need to focus on, how about you?\u00a0 I bought a new yoga mat a few months ago, and it still has the wrapper on it and is in the closet.\u00a0 Moving our bodies is so important for not only our current health but also our future health.\u00a0<\/p><p>I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve heard the term, \u201cUse it or lose it.\u201d\u00a0 Well, there is a lot of truth to that.\u00a0 As you age, you will notice that you don\u2019t rebound as quickly or easily.\u00a0 And eventually, you may not rebound at all.\u00a0 Also, by moving our bodies and getting that kinetic energy flowing, we help our chakras by allowing the energy to flow and not get stuck.<\/p><p>Try taking the stairs instead of the elevator.\u00a0 At the Cleveland Clinic, they have signs by every elevator encouraging your to use the &#8220;free exercise equipment&#8221; (the stairs) instead of the lift.\u00a0 Get a minimum of 5,000 steps every day by parking further from the door or by going for a walk.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-1a61b3d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"1a61b3d\" data-element_type=\"section\" Grooming and Pampering&#8230;<\/h2><p>Do things that make you feel and look good!\u00a0 Get your nails done, get a haircut, get a massage.\u00a0 All work and no play makes us all dull boys and girls.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-563133f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"563133f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-dee5f23\" data-id=\"dee5f23\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53e9161 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"53e9161\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>5. Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet&#8230;<\/h2><p>Last but not least, in case no one\u00a0 has every told you, medications expire.\u00a0 Typically after a year.\u00a0 Sort through your medications and safely discard what needs discarded. \u00a0<\/p><p>I have a coworker whose mother goes on medical missions trips every year and needs empty pill bottles to give the people so that they don&#8217;t have to carry loose medications for miles after walking to see the doctor.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-2149eea elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"2149eea\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element feeling better physically.\u00a0 And by keeping up with your routine health maintenance you will be heading off any future problems at the pass.\u00a0 The biggest benefit will be that you will likely
